This framework is drafted with the laws of the Republic of Uganda as the primary legal reference, including the Children Act, the Data Protection and Privacy Act and the Computer Misuse Act, while recognising that additional laws may apply to students in other jurisdictions. Final texts are reviewed by the academy's legal adviser before they are treated as binding.
